Verso Software Platform:
Verso is a mature enterprise grade MeteorJS mobile application and platform used by students and teachers in over 100 countries around the world. We are looking for an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and motivated graduate to join our global team.

Based in the inner west of Melbourne we’re supporting colleagues and clients around Australia and across the U.S. The successful candidate will be a great communicator and problem solver with a keen eye for detail, an understanding of the importance of process, and a good grasp of:

 

  • Single page apps
  • Javascript (including ES6)
  • MongoDB
  • JSON
  • AWS

 

They will also be confident in:

 

  • Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and others
  • Ability to translate client requirements into application designs and systems requirements
  • Ability to troubleshoot application and database issues
  • Ability to create software development design documentation

 

In this role they will be required to:

 

  • Analyse test requirements, and design and execute tests.
  • Typical tests may include system testing, user acceptance testing, performance testing, technical architecture testing, security testing and test automation,
  • Develop, update and maintain testing standards and procedures,
  • Record problems and issues in accordance with the project’s problem and issue management plans,
  • Work with the application team and/or end users to ensure that customer issues are correctly understood and documented.
  • Monitor server environment (via web-based dev op tools)
  • Manage customer help enquiries (phone and email)
